There's a particular kind of warmth that shows up in autumn — not the heat of summer, but something quieter, something you generate yourself once the days get shorter and the air turns cold. This mala is built around that feeling: an inner sun you carry with you, whatever the season.
Carnelian opens things up — warm and orange, the colour of low autumn light, it's known as a stone of vitality and courage, the nudge that gets you moving on something you've been circling for a while. Tiger Eye sits close by, all golden-brown depth, grounding that energy and adding a quiet kind of confidence — the sense that you can trust your own instincts. And Citrine, glowing at the centre as the guru bead, ties it together: a stone linked to joy and warmth, and to the feeling that good things are still ahead.
This is a mala for love and connection — to others, but also to yourself, to your own creative spark, to the parts of you that get quieter in winter and need a little encouragement to stay lit. It's also lovely for new beginnings: a fresh season, a new chapter, a relationship finding its footing. You'll find it filed under Love & Connection and New Beginnings here.
Made with 108 beads, mostly 8mm with a few 6mm beads woven in for subtle variation, and finished with a Citrine guru bead. Handknotted by me, one knot at a time. If you love this combination but are drawn to a hand-carved Ganesha guru bead instead, look for its sister piece, the Inner Sun Mala.
Note: as these are natural gemstones, each one carries its own markings and shades, so your mala may vary slightly from the photos.
