Red is Passion Gemstone Mala

Red doesn't ask permission. This mala leans all the way into that — Red Coral and deep Garnet, with small bursts of colourful Tibetan beads worked through the strand.

Garnet carries a deep, almost wine-dark red, long associated with vitality and with commitment — to people, to goals, to yourself. Red Coral runs alongside it, a warmer, more orange-red, traditionally linked to energy and life force. The Tibetan beads add small, unexpected flashes of colour throughout — a bit of playfulness against all that intensity.

It finishes with a Red Coral guru bead and a bold red tassel. No subtlety here, by design.

Made from 108 beads, mostly 8mm with 6mm beads worked in, finished with a Red Coral guru bead and a red tassel. Handknotted by me, one knot at a time.
