Crazy Lace Agate gemstone Mala with a unique AUM pendant

Crazy Lace Agate looks like it was painted, not formed — swirling bands of grey and cream, no two patterns ever quite the same. It's one of the most visually striking stones we work with, and here it's paired with a pendant that's just as bold.

The beads themselves are a kind of quiet conversation piece — each one different, each one worth a second look. Agate as a stone is associated with balance and with steadying the mind, the sort of thing that helps when your thoughts are running faster than you'd like.

At the centre hangs a large Om pendant, about 6.5cm across — the kind of piece that sets the tone for the whole mala. Om is one of the oldest sounds used in meditation and yoga practice, often chanted at the start or end of a session as a way of marking the shift from "doing" to "being." You don't need to chant anything to wear it — it works just as well as a quiet personal symbol of that same shift.
