Kids Mala Beads Necklace Handmade with Rudraksha and Turquoise

Turquoise has been worn by travellers for centuries — a stone people carried with them for a sense of protection on the road. This one is sized for smaller adventures: school, playgrounds, sleepovers.

Turquoise and Rudraksha sit together in 8mm beads — Turquoise bringing its calm blue-green, Rudraksha adding the same texture used in mala-making for centuries. The guru bead is a small handmade Tibetan bead, a little different from the rest, marking the start and end of the strand.

It finishes with a green tassel.

This is a good mala for a child who's a bit braver than they feel some days — starting a new school, trying something new, or just needing a little extra steadiness. You'll find it filed under Strength & Protection here.

Made from 64 beads of 8mm, with a handmade Tibetan guru bead, hanging to approximately 40cm including the green tassel. Handknotted by me, one knot at a time.
