Moonlit Reflection Gemstone Mala

Some nights the moon is impossible to ignore — full, bright, pulling at something you can't quite name. This mala was made on one of those nights, here in the Algarve, with that same quiet pull in mind.

Moonstone makes up most of the strand, glowing softly even in low light — long associated with intuition and with trusting the rhythm you're already in, even when it doesn't match anyone else's. Labradorite accents run through it too, flashing blue-grey when the light catches them — a stone linked to protection and to noticing what's beneath the surface of things. At the centre, two faceted Moonstone beads sit like twin moonbeams, a little brighter than the rest.

Below them hangs a handcrafted Karen Hill Tribe silver pendant, shaped like a full moon — its round form often used as a symbol of cycles and completeness. A white tassel finishes it off.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece — only one was made, and the natural variation in Moonstone and Labradorite means no two would ever look quite the same anyway. Made from 108 beads of 8mm plus faceted accent beads, hanging to approximately 60cm including the pendant. Handknotted by me here in the Algarve, one knot at a time.
