Connection Man Gemstone Mala

Connection doesn't always look soft. Sometimes it looks like this — dark stone, solid weight, something a man can wear every day without a second thought, that quietly reminds him he's not as separate from the people around him as the daily grind can make it feel.

Lava and Onyx form the base — rough and smooth, fire and shadow, working together the way strength usually does: part toughness, part the ability to absorb a hit and keep going. Black Labradorite runs through it too, with a flash of blue-grey when the light catches it just right — a stone often associated with protection and with seeing past the surface of things.

At the centre, a silver Flower of Life pendant, handcrafted in Bali — a geometric pattern that's appeared across cultures and centuries as a symbol of how everything connects to everything else. Here, it's also simply a striking piece of silverwork against all that dark stone.

This is for the man who wants something with more meaning than a typical accessory, but isn't going to wear anything that looks fragile. Made from 108 beads, mostly 8mm with a few 6mm beads woven in, finished with the silver Flower of Life pendant handcrafted in Bali. Handknotted by me, one knot at a time.
