Strong Spirit Man Gemstone Mala

Two materials, both born close to the ground — Rudraksha seeds, which grow on a tree, and Black Lava, which comes from somewhere far below it.

Rudraksha seeds make up most of the strand — the same beads used in mala-making for centuries, valued for their texture and weight. Black Lava runs alongside them, rough and matte, often associated with grounding and with staying steady when things get difficult. The guru bead is a smooth oval Lava bead, finished with a grey tassel.

Built lighter and a bit shorter than our women's malas, this is a mala for meditation and for strength — for a man who wants something steady to wear every day, without much fuss. You'll find it filed under Meditation & Practice and Strength & Protection here.

Made from 108 beads of 6mm, hanging to approximately 60cm including the pendant, finished with an oval Lava guru bead and a grey tassel. Handknotted by me, one knot at a time.
