Ocean Whisper Gemstone Mala

Most guru beads are cut and polished to match the rest of the strand. This one isn't — a raw piece of Larimar, left in its natural form, sits at the centre exactly as it came out of the ground.

Larimar is rare, found in only one place in the world — a soft sky-blue stone often associated with calm and with a gentle kind of emotional clarity. Around it, Magnesite and Amazonite bring soft whites and aquamarine-toned blue-greens, both linked to relaxation and to easing an overactive mind. Jasper adds a grounding note, keeping all that softness from floating away entirely. Small wooden spacers add warmth and texture.

It finishes with an ivory tassel — a softer, warmer note than the blues and greens running through the rest.

This is a mala for clarity and healing, for anyone drawn to raw, unpolished things — including the unpolished parts of themselves. Made in small batches here in the Algarve from ethically sourced materials, this is a one-of-a-kind piece: once it's gone, it's gone. Made from 108 beads of 8mm, finished with a raw Larimar guru bead and an ivory tassel, hanging to approximately 60cm. Handknotted by me here in the Algarve, one knot at a time.
