These Original Gold Leaf Temple Bangles are handmade with the same Authentic gold leaf used in Buddhist temples to cover the Golden Buddhas. Gold Leaf Flakes and Gold dust are used to fill gorgeous hypoallergenic pliable tube bangles. Their brilliance, charm, chic, and comfort have made them famous but it's their unique spiritual meaning that makes them timeless.

Traditionally, gold flake residue was collected by Buddhist monks in temple ceremonies and offerings. They used it to fill each bangle and seal it with a protective mantra connector and sacred oils. Till today they are given by monks to temple visitors for good luck.

Each bangle is made by hand and therefore unique and carries a sacred character. The bangles are flexible (easy to put on and off), lightweight, comfortable, and silent to wear. They stack perfectly and look best when worn in quantity (zero tinklings) on a single wrist for an optimal effect.

Each Gold-Leaf Temple Bangle carries the Mantras of Love & Luck and is meant to bring protection and happiness. The Mantra connector is visible through the tube. Since it is coated with real gold (90%) it will darken slightly over time adding to the charm and uniqueness of the bangle. The Mantra engraving is เมตตามหานิยม = Love, and โชคลาภ = Luck.

Our original Gold Leaf Temple Bangles are robust and age beautifully over time. They are made to be worn continuously and the older they get the lovelier their brilliance gets. They are water-resistant so you can even take them into the shower, beach, bath, or swimming pool.

Pliable Tube filled with Gold Leaf Flakes. The mantra connector is made of Brass coated with 90% Gold (90%).
