Silver Ganesh Men Gemstone Mala

This one doesn't try to be subtle — a large silver Ganesha pendant sits front and centre, the kind of piece you notice on someone before you notice anything else about them.

Black Onyx and Labradorite form most of the strand, dark and occasionally flashing blue-grey when the light catches it. Amazonite adds a few notes of soft blue-green throughout, a calmer counterpoint to all that depth. Most beads are 8mm, with smaller 6mm beads worked in here and there.

Ganesha, in many traditions, is invoked at the start of something new — associated with clearing the way before a venture begins. Here, that idea is cast in silver and worn front and centre, a reminder that the obstacles in front of you are rarely as fixed as they look.

Made from 108 beads, mostly 8mm with 6mm beads worked in, finished with a silver Ganesha pendant. Handknotted by me, one knot at a time.
