"A mala doesn't change your life for you — it amplifies the change you are ready to make."
"I am a mala maker. I have been for over twelve years. And I still find it magical."
ABOUT TATI
It started with a woman I didn't yet know, in a shop in Tel Aviv.
I saw her malas hanging there and something stopped me. I asked the sales person: who made these? I got a name. I got a number. My husband Asaf and I called her that same day and drove to her home.
She opened her door to two complete strangers without a second thought. Her home was colourful and alive — art on every wall, family photos on the walls, the smell of tea. She was a DJ, an artist, a collector, a maker, a mother, a loving wife. She held all of it at once, effortlessly.
I looked at her and thought: I want to be her.
I still wear the two malas I bought from her that day. They are the beginning of everything.
The beginning
I came home and told Asaf I wanted to try. He asked what I needed and bought me the materials. I watched tutorials. I sat down at a table and made my first mala. Something happened that I still can't fully explain.
Asaf travelled to India and came back carrying hand-carved Ganesha pendants, crystals wrapped in silver, raw gemstones in every colour. We built a website. Then a shop in Amsterdam. Then a community of people who came not just for the malas, but for the feeling of being truly seen and cared for.
In 2023 we moved to the Algarve, Portugal — where the light is extraordinary and the pace of life makes space for the kind of making I believe in.
What I believe
Our inner world shapes everything we experience. I have spent years drawn to the quiet intelligence of gemstones — the way they hold intention, respond to our energy, and support our growth without ever taking over the journey.
A mala is not just jewelry. It is a tool, a companion, a mirror. It reveals where your energy is aligned and where it is asking for attention. When you are grounded, the mala strengthens that grounding. When you are in chaos, it gently brings that chaos to the surface so you can work with it.
Each mala I create is crafted personally, intuitively, and with care. I choose gemstones based on the energy, intention, and story of the person who will wear it. Every bead is placed consciously. Every knot is a breath. Every mala becomes a unique energetic signature.
"When a mala is finished, I am in bliss — grateful for the stones that agreed to be part of it. I bless each one for the path of its healing work."
Why Manipura
Manipura is the solar plexus chakra — the seat of personal power, abundance, and creative expression. I named this business after it because I believe that's what a mala can unlock in the person who wears it. To create from a place of fullness, not fear. To give from abundance.
Manipura malas are made for those who are ready to listen to their bodies, trust their intuition, and take action in their lives. For those who understand that transformation is a collaboration between the inner self and the tools we choose to work with.
"If you've found your way here, I believe it's not by accident.Your path. Your energy. Your mala."

What Manipura Means?
Manipura means ‘City of Gems’ in the Sanskrit language. It is also the name of 3rd chakra in the human body (Solar Plexus) and it is close to our hearts because it deals with self-discovery, authentic expression, and living your life's purpose.
